All About Me Craft Activity

"All About Me" Back to school craft and display

This is a fabulous activity for the first day of school to get to know your students and to create an amazing 3D hanging display or wall display.

• Students write their name on the body of the butterfly
• Students fill in all the information by drawing pictures and writing their answers.
• Colour in both butterflies.
• Cut out both butterflies.
• Fold butterfly wings on the dotted lines.
• Glue the front butterfly to the back butterfly (body only).
• Put a hole in the black dot on the head of the butterfly to thread a string through.
• Hang the butterflies in the classroom.
• Alternatively, fasten the back butterfly to the wall to create a wall display.
• Students can colour and cut out the letters ‘All About Me!’ to make a heading for the display.
